Getting Started

To obtain your Real Estate license. You must take the following courses and pass the course test:

 60-hour pre-licensing course

 30-hour course for New Affiliates

You also need:

To be 18 years old

Have a High School or College Diploma or your GED

Must pass the State Exam 

Must pass a background check (fingerprint)

You will need to obtain Error and Omission Insurance

You will register and take the courses either online or in-person at All-Star Real Estate Academy.  Once you have completed and passed the test in those courses you will receive a certificate for each course. You will then be told you can register to take the State Exam which you must pass by 70%.  

Now you will choose a brokerage 

(a place to work/hang your license) .

Take the following documents to that brokerage:

Pre-Licensing Course Certificate

Course for New Affiliates Certificate

Your State Exam Certificate (will be in your email)

GED/High School/College Diploma

The fingerprint receipt

Error & Omission Certificate (brokerage will show you this)

Once the Real Estate Commission approves your application then it is time to
